Lara Gunn (b. Lara Gunduz) likes scribbling, sewing, and My Chemical Romance. Lara has a
BA. in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of North Texas. Her works are
reflections on permeability when it comes to violence, girlhood, and desire. Bodies and objects
may appear to be solid, but are actually open, transferable, and interconnected with the spirits
around them. Existence naturally consents life all around to flow in and out, to twist inside like
vines. When not painting, Lara likes to read unreliable narrator books and spend time with her
cat, Lentil, who often appears in her paintings. Today, Lara works for NASA, creating the next generation spacesuit. Tomorrow, she will continue building her world of paintings and take over the fashion industry. so slay... like u <3
